Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Training : 4 hours of relevant training
Work Experience : 1 year of relevant experience
Competency : General and Specific Functions :
* Prepares Agency Procurement Request (APR) for all items procured from the Procurement Service (PS);
* Procures and distributes supplies/materials/equipment in a cost efficient and effective manner;
* Prepares the necessary documents to support procurement undertaken for goods, civil works and services;
* Accepts deliveries of supplies, materials and equipment and request for the conduct of inspection;
* Issues and distribute available supplies, materials and equipment to requesting offices/divisions;
* Prepares the reports and communications relevant to supply and procurement management;
* Serves as property and equipment custodian;
* Implements effective Internal Control (utilization and maintenance) with regards to handling of supplies and properties;
* Maintains monitoring system for all inventory items, supplies and materials;
* Conducts physical inventory of all inventory items;
* Maintains proper storage of supplies, materials and
equipment including repair of equipment, if necessary;
* Issues clearance from property accountability of all
officials and employees;
* Maintains and updates master database of inventories;
* Identifies unserviceable equipment and waste materials
for proper disposal;
* Prepares the Annual Procurement Plan (APP); and
* Manages and ensures the adequate and standard provision of physical resources such as infrastructure, facilities, utilities and vehicles.
Technical competencies:
Maintaining PFM Understanding Use of IT to Manage Public Finances Accounts Reconciliation Supplier and Contract Management Generating Reports, Correspondence, and Documentation Records Management Continuous Regulatory Compliance
